What is fielddrive Easy Badging?

Easy Badging is built to give smaller events a straightforward way to manage onsite check-in and badge printing.

It combines the compact fielddrive Edge kiosk with QR and name-based check-in and live sticker printing. Instead of printing personalized badges in advance, organizers can use pre-printed badge stock and add each attendee’s information when they arrive.

The result is a simple flow: check in, print, apply and go.

You can see exactly how that works in the demo above.

From check-in to badge in a few steps

When attendees arrive, they can scan the QR code from their registration confirmation at the kiosk.

No QR code? They can also search for their registration by name.

Once the attendee is checked in, Easy Badging prints a linerless sticker containing their attendee information. The sticker is then applied to the event’s pre-printed badge, ready for collection.

Using pre-printed badge stock also gives event teams room to create branded badge designs while keeping attendee-specific information flexible until check-in.

Handle walk-ins and last-minute changes onsite

Event registration data rarely stays frozen once the doors open.

Easy Badging gives event teams the flexibility to manage attendee changes onsite. Walk-ins can be added, attendee information can be updated, and replacement badge details can be printed when needed.

Because the attendee-specific information is printed at the event, teams do not have to prepare a personalized physical badge for every registered attendee beforehand.

That can be especially useful when registrations continue close to the event or when attendee details change at the last minute.

A compact setup for events up to 500 attendees

Easy Badging runs on the fielddrive Edge, our compact check-in kiosk designed for events with up to 500 attendees.

Its smaller footprint makes it easy to fit into registration desks and space-conscious venues, while still providing the core functionality needed for onsite check-in and badging.

The solution can also operate offline, helping teams keep check-in moving when venue connectivity is unreliable. Organizers can monitor attendance as people arrive, giving them an up-to-date view of onsite numbers.
